Fede-Info April 2022

With the return of spring, here is a new issue of Fede_Info. After the constraints of the pandemic, you will notice that several baptisms have finally taken place, mainly of young people. Young people also experienced a lot of activities, both at the federal level with carnival camps or training courses, and at the local level with activities linked to Global Youth Day, among others. The ESDA department had two special days, going out to meet people and distributing books and invitations for Bible courses. Another federal activity that marked the beginning of the year was the Bible Quiz; you will find some reactions from the participants and the ranking. And of course, ADRA will report on the actions taken to help Ukrainian refugees. Also note the editorial by Jeroen Tuinstra on the delicate subject of God’s interventions and the article by Christian Sabot on the situation of tithes in our Federation. Finally, you will discover the faces of our new pastors as well as the changes of assignment withinthe pastoral team.

Fede-Info October 2021

The first Fede-Info appeared in 1984. Coincidentally, this hundredth issue coincides with the centenary of our Federation. You will therefore find a number of articles related to this anniversary. The editorial by Jeroen Tuinstra, entitled ‘A new beginning’, will give you an opportunity to reflect on how we see the future of our church. And indeed, activities are starting up again, as is the case with the youth department, which organised several activities this summer, or with a new group that has been officially recognised in Grammont. Unfortunately, the word departure will also echo the death of two colleagues to whom we pay tribute. Of course, last summer was marked by the floods in Belgium and you can read about how ADRA was involved in helping the victims. Also, the words ‘departure and new’ will be doubly relevant to the changes in the pastoral corps. Finally, you will find some articles by our treasurer, Christian Sabot. Happy reading and a good new start!

Fede-Info December 2020

Fédé-Info décembre 2020Here we are at the end of a very special year. However, despite the limits imposed by the health crisis, you will discover in this Fede-Info how the churches have adapted to continue to support our Federation. This important chapter will not, however, erase the memory of all those to whom we had to say goodbye and this issue pays a more special tribute to two of our past pastors: Rosa Saveniers and Roger Lenoir. In Federation news, you will also discover the faces of our four new pastors and the changes in pastoral assignments. Finally, our president’s editorial, Jeroen Tuinstra, will give you a chance to reflect on the conspiracy theories that abound right now, both in the world press and in our Church. Enjoy reading.

Fede-Info March 2020

While our territory is moving towards an increasingly marked containment, it is important to keep the link that unites us and to continue to inform you of the events that have marked our Conference in recent months. Thus, this edition of Fede-Info will return to the New Year’s reception and the challenging and noticed speech of our president, Jeroen Tuinstra. But this March edition will also pay tribute to two endearing personalities who left us at the end of 2019: Jean Geeroms and Josiane Branche-Jeurissen. You will also find a point on the financial situation and the budget presented by our treasurer, Christian Sabot, as well as on the last appointments made by the Conference board, in particular the various commissions and certain heads of departments. As usual, Fede-Info will also review the activities of the Poles, departments and ADRA, without forgetting the dynamism of our local churches.
