The Adventist Church in Belgium has been around for some time, but the Federation was formally organized in 1921. Despite the current circumstances, we want to celebrate this together on Sabbath April 17. On the theme of “100 years in the service of hope” we want to look back together on the distant and not so distant history of the Federation.
A team of hard-working people are putting the finishing touches to videos, interviews, photos and other old video and audio material. During that day you will be invited to an interactive morning program with a special greeting from Ted Wilson, President of the General Conference and a message from Daniel Monachini, President of the South France Federation, who spent his childhood in Belgium. There will also be an interactive Sabbath School and something for the youth and children. In the afternoon you will be immersed in the history of the Federation in all its diversity and finally end the day with a real online concert, with participants from Belgium and Luxembourg.
The morning program can be followed via a zoom meeting and via the Federation’s YouTube channel. The afternoon and evening program will only be available on YouTube. Via zoom there will be possibilities for different translations, but the main language will be Dutch and French. The afternoon and evening program can only be followed in French and Dutch.
