What do 80 people and more from the churches of Thulin, La Louvière, and Charleroi, plus other friends from various churches, do together? They spend the weekend together! And how was it? It was Delicious!
Delicious! That was the theme of our annual meeting which took place from August 23 to 25 in Amougies. That was the atmosphere we experienced, the (hearty!) meals together, the moments of praise, prayer, biblical reflection, games, and relaxation!
For once, yes, for once, we took the time to rest in the Lord, to live a weekend on the theme and experience of rest in Christ, which is not only spiritual but also mental and physical. We took the time to make the holy day of the Lord a delightful day, and we were abundantly blessed!
We thank our spiritual guest, Pastor Yves Pierre, who guided us during the moments of reflection and sharing around the Bible.
We thank everyone who, near or far, contributed to making this meeting, once again, a spiritual and fraternal success.
We parted, happy to have been together and to be able to say “see you next year!”
