Special service in Antwerp

On Sabbath, June 28, the church in Antwerp held a special worship service dedicated to African languages, cultures, and faith experiences. It was a beautiful service where members of different communities and visitors came together to worship God, notably through songs wonderfully performed by Jean Luc Munyampeta and Eveline Nyirasafari, the choir “La Dernière Trompette” from the African church in Brussels, and the worship team of the Antwerp church.

The guest speaker, Enock Robinson, delivered two spiritually uplifting reflections on the theme of the Good Samaritan. In the afternoon, two additional short presentations offered fascinating insights into various aspects of African cultures.

Praising God together, singing, sharing about our cultures, and enjoying a delicious meal of sandwiches and African snacks was a truly enriching experience. It also gave participants a deeper appreciation of the richness of cultures and the different approaches to faith within the Church. It was a successful day that everyone will remember with great enthusiasm!
