On February 14, a very special service took place at the Advent Church in Antwerp. No fewer than three people — Kim Rodyns, Tom Vanderispaillie, and Benjamin Evanian — were baptized, showing how important Jesus is to them and expressing their desire to follow Him and walk in His footsteps.
Each of the three baptismal candidates also shared a powerful personal testimony. Kim spoke about how she found faith not very long ago and how it has brought great peace and meaning to her life. She also explained how she eventually found her way to Adventkerk Antwerp, even though she lives nearby and for a long time did not know the church was there.
After that, Tom and Benjamin, both of whom grew up in the church, shared what Jesus, their faith, and the church have meant in their lives — for which they are very grateful — and how this ultimately led to their decision to be baptized.
Following the service, there was a festive gathering with snacks, drinks, and cakes provided by the families of the baptized members, allowing everyone to celebrate this unforgettable moment together.
