On Sabbath, April 5, 2025, the Grammont Group welcomed over fifty people for its very first concert, “Rise and Praise” — a moment that brought together the choirs of the churches of Liège and Brussels-Centre, along with other singers and instrumentalists.
The smiles lighting up faces, just like the sun, filled hearts with joy. That joy which makes you sing out loud and reminds us how music and praise can reflect the love of Christ.
The Sabbath is not just a day of rest, but so much more. Thanks to events like this, I’ve come to see this weekly pause as a day of celebration and sharing: sharing our love for Christ surrounded by those we love. I wanted to highlight this side of Sabbath that we sometimes forget in our Christian routine. May the gifts God gives us be used to touch those in need, and may they strengthen us to fully live the Sabbath God established.
I thank everyone who contributed, in any way, to the organization of this festive day, which I hope left a lasting impression on those who were present.
