Four new Masterguides

On 14 December, the Woluwe church was the setting for an investiture ceremony. Philippe Leduc, who is responsible for youth at Union Franco-Belge level, came along to guide the young people during the ceremony.

Some of the Adventurers and Explorers expressed their commitment to do their best with Jesus and the help of their friends and family in front of a packed church. Some of them also received a badge as a reward for their work towards a speciality.

More unusually, four new Masterguides were invested by Philippe: Jérôme and Isabelle Raucy, and Carlos and Keytan Rivero. The rank of Masterguide is acquired at the end of a long training programme, which begins at the age of 7 with the first star of the Adventurers. This curriculum encompasses several areas of expertise: understanding and analysing biblical texts, technical skills, organising games, projects and events, specialities to be developed according to the individual’s abilities… Gerfaut, Tourterelle, Dauphin and Husky are committed not only to continuing their learning, but also to passing on their knowledge, supporting the young people in their care with respect and kindness, and helping them to progress…

May God be the supreme Guide of all these young people who, step by step, are journeying with Him.
